1. T-Purse
T-P se is an electronic wallet in which you can load money to be used for
transportation.
Regional buses and citywide public transportation in Abu Dhabi are both accepted by the T-Purse in the Hafilat. It is a consumer-rechargeable electronic wallet.
How to apply Hafilat T-Purse?
- T-Purse is offered at all ticket vending machines and counters at ticket office machines. All Banknote Reloader devices allow passengers to reload their T-Purse.
- When boarding the bus, passengers must punch in with their Hafilat cards and exit the vehicle with the same cards. If you don’t do this, there are consequences.
How to reload / recharge Hafilat T-Purse?

- Boarding charge of 2 AED + 5 fils/kilometer for using regional services.
- Boarding charge of 2 AED + 10 fils/kilometer for using express or intercity
service.
2. Hafilat Weekly pass
- The Hafilat Weekly Pass is a ticket that allows for unrestricted bus travel solely within Abu Dhabi City. Within 7 days of the purchase date, it is still valid.
How to apply Hafilat Weekly Pass?
- It is offered at all ticket vending machines and counters at ticket office machines.
- When boarding the bus, passengers must punch in with their Hafilat cards and exit the vehicle with the same cards. If you don’t do this, there are consequences.
- Valid only in Abu Dhabi city buses.

3. Hafilat Monthly pass
- The Hafilat Monthly Pass is a ticket that allows for unrestricted bus travel solely within Abu Dhabi City. After the date of purchase, it remains valid for 30 days.

- It is offered at all ticket vending machines and counters at ticket office machines.
- When boarding the bus, passengers must punch in with their Hafilat cards and exit the vehicle with the same cards. If you don’t do this, there are consequences.

4. Hafilat Senior Citizen Pass
- For anyone over 60, the Hafilat Senior Citizen Pass provides unrestricted access to bus rides throughout Abu Dhabi City and outlying services.
- If all needed documents are in order, the Hafilat Senior Citizen Pass must be renewed annually.

- The Hafilat Senior Citizen Pass is offered at all ticket desks at bus stations and terminals.

5. Hafilat Special Needs/Disabled Pass
- The Hafilat Special Needs/Disabled Pass provides disabled individuals with unrestricted access to regional and metropolitan buses in Abu Dhabi. The Hafilat Special Needs/Disabled Pass is only good for one year and needs to be renewed if the necessary paperwork is in order.

6. Hafilat Student Pass
- The Hafilat Student Pass provides students with unrestricted use of local and regional bus services in Abu Dhabi. If the necessary documents are in order, the Hafilat Student Pass may be extended for an additional year.

- All Ticket Office Machine counters in Abu Dhabi bus stations and terminals sell the Hafilat Student Pass.

7. People of determination Pass
- By employing a bus smart card, individuals of all determinations are able to travel unrestrictedly around Abu Dhabi City and its surroundings.
- People with a strong will and their companions are excused from using the department of transportation’s ferries are exempted.

- Copy of the ID card (front and back)
- Medical report (physical, visual, hearing, communication disabilities) psychological (mental disabilities, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity, and psychological) from an authorized official body stating the existence of the disability
